Hi, Carla. I’m sorry to hear about your divorce, and I know what you mean when you say you are still recovering. God is faithful and will turn your tragedy around for good as you continue to trust in Him. Thank you for reading our blog and the WebWomenConnect devotionals. We all need encouragement from one another, don’t we? Take care of yourself, and I hope you will make it back to the Twin Cities to live. It’s a great place — a bit on the cold side, but a great place…. (br-r-r-r).

A friend of mine forwarded one of the WebWomenConnect devotionals to me and I am excited to read them and your blog on a regular basis. Right now I am nannying in NY, but as of Christmas, the Lord willing, I’ll be back in the Twin Cities, which is where I have resided the past four years. My husband of 27 years and I divorced nearly five years ago, and I am still “recovering” from the effects of it.

Hi Sharon,
I received your brochure on writing books. I would LOVE to attend; however, I just self-published a book. Wine Press is a Christian company and they reflect this in their business practices. “Heaven Cent Prayers” is a book that does not teach people how or what to pray, but it speaks of the character and love from the God we are speaking to. I know that, even though this book took much time, effort, and financing, it certainly was the right thing to do. I needed to tell people who HE is and this is the way I felt inspired to do so. God is taking this book and connecting it to the people who need to read it most. I am in awe and am flattered by how God has already worked in this situation. I have my first book signing at my church on Oct. 10, I’m selling the books at the hospital I work at gift shop, and I as also selling them at local gift shops. I write for my church’s newsletter, and I have also been published in Nursing Notes, a United Hospital’s publication.

See what you started??????? I started by taking your course called “Write and be Published: Be a Communicator God Can Use” and look how the Lord has gone with this!!! I write every day, mostly journaling. However, poems frequently “pop” up. My point is that writing is God’s way of working, and I’d like to thank you for being instrumental in this process. I would like to take this new class you’re offering called “So You Want to Write a Book!” but I’m working full time now (I have a daughter in college and another son who is yet to start) . Yikes!!! Life is busy!

I just want you to know that I’d love to talk to whoever takes your class and tell them that I’m one of your success stories!!!!! Sharon, let’s keep in touch. This note I’m writing has become long-winded:) Thank you for your gift of writing and your willingness to share your gift. I’d love to show you my book as well. I lost my husband in a tragic car accident 11 months ago. The spiritual wisdom I found in your book, “Starting from Scratch When You’re Single Again” really helped me. Thank you for that.

Hello, Sharon,

I have only begun your book and am so blessed to have a friend give it to me after the division of a 34-year marriage. Like many women, my circumstances are, to me, devastating so I know your book will be most encouraging to me at a time of rebuilding and major adjustment in my life.

I wanted to let you know that I am excited to know that you are part of Cleansing Streams, a wonderful ministry of deliverance that I wish all churches would embrace for reaching the soul issues of strongholds in people’s lives that cause ugly things like pain and divorce.
